PETER BHATIA is editor and vice president of the Detroit Free Press. Most recently, he was editor and vice president of audience engagement at The Cincinnati Enquirer. He has served as a newsroom leader in San Francisco, Dallas, Sacramento, Portland and York, Pennsylvania. He is a former ASNE president and is current president of the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.
